If a duo is dynamic, a trio is three times as much fun. We’re excited to welcome Kim Foley MacKinnon to the Moms Going Out team. Kim is a veteran journalist and editor whose recent gigs have included editing Daily Candy Boston Kids and authoring the amazing new book Boston Baby: A Field Guide for Urban Parents. Now, Kim is the editor-in-chief of The Savvy Factory, a new site that covers food, fashion, travel, services and products. It’s mostly for Boston-based readers, but there’s plenty to love no matter where you live.

After covering our Mominatrix event in February, Kim wondered how she could help us grow Moms Going Out and get even more moms to enjoy our events. We were delighted to bring her on board, and we’re excited to work together as we develop our programs for fall 2010 and winter/spring 2011. Watch this space.
